It's time to join the blogging community. I've now been writing diligently for over a year, with quite a lot to show for it. What started as a "Can I do this?" became a "Yes, I can."
I began writing what would become Opening Day in the spring of 2014. I sent it out to several betas and received favorable response. At this time, Goodreads M/M Romance Group had their annual Don't Read in the Closet event up and running. One of my betas, soon to be known as Jonathan Penn, snatched up a dropped prompt. Well... What the hey? I've written one, why not another, and thus Starlight and Constellation: Gemini was born. Unfortunately, due to underage content it was never published as a "book." I hope to get a link up here, but in the meanwhile you can read the story online here: http://www.mmromancegroup.com/starlight-and-constellation-gemini-by-alexis-woods/
As Starlight went into its final edits, I was asked to join a cabin for the June NaNoWriMo Camp. That was a wonderful experience. Meeting new authors, many well established in our community, was a great boon. I enjoyed being able to ask questions and get amazing responses to improve my writing.
During camp an opportunity arose to write a holiday story for an anthology to be put out by a new publishing house: Beaten Track. I've been with them every since. Debbie McGowan, owner and editor, makes it so easy, helping to fine tune our manuscripts and get them uploaded. Lion's Hero was released in December of 2014.
Here I'm going to stop with my history (for now) because with the holidays fast approaching---actually upon us for my Jewish Family---I'm happy to show off my new cover for Lion's Hero. It was created by Wulf Godgluck, and fine-tuned by KC Faelan.
So, without further delay:
